EmmaLees FIRST Birthday cake

I had the bakery decorate Emmas cake just like her invitations. We were so pleased at how cute it turned out. Tasted yummy too! Top Foods of course! Emmalee loved her "first" piece of birthday cake. She ate it with manners (ha ha) very cautiously and daintly. However, enjoyed it very much!

Family and Friends

What a fun party EmmaLee had on Sunday. Which happened to be a very HOT day! We bbq'd burgers and hotdogs...pretty much a traditional summer bbq. Emma managed to stay awake all day (her 1 hour nap doesn't count!) towards the end she was def, pooped! The kids played and got to swim some. EmmaLee opened her presents...maybe the first one then grumply tired wanted nothing to do with it. Poor girl was exhausted at that time. She got some really adorable gifts. Her first dolly stroller, and disney books, little people...and many other things. Grandpa Hyatt got her the prettiest piggy bank, filled with gold coins. : ) Something she will cherish for many years to come. Thankyou to EmmaLees Auntie Pam AND Uncle Mark for letting us have Ems fun day at their home. A special Day Art and I will remember always. EmmaLees first Birthday Party....

After taking pretty pictures in Emmas birthday dress (Auntie Pam had bought her)it was time for cooling down in the baby pool...the BIG pool was later. What a great way to end a fun day swimming with Daddy.

Emma Loves her new Mickey!

Daddy was on the hunt for a Mickey Mouse toy late last night after he got off of work. He found one! YAY, Daddy!! A little hint for WalMart haters....shopping at midnight is not toooooo bad. lol! This morning Emma woke up to her new mickey. What a fun way to start her birthday Day. : )

HAPPY BIRTHDAY EMMALEE!

Our sweet little Emma is "ONE" today. We are celebrating with a party on Sunday but wanted to do something fun today. We decided to get her..her first happy meal for lunch and take it to the park. She enjoyed her plain cheeseburger very much....mmmm yummy. So long to the baby stage (sad)! We welcome the busy toddler years as Em already walks and is very busy discovering drawers and cabinets ...the stairs. She LOVES her new Mickey Mouse and has become pretty fond of her school bus riding toy. She still adores her big sister and loves going to Auntie Pams on mondays to play with her cousins Caylen and Coleson. And of course lots of love and hugs from her Auntie. What a sweet baby girl...yes, baby..she will always be our precious baby girl! As her Daddy wrote to her in her bday card, "It's been a great year watching you grow. You have brought lots of joy and love and we look forward to lots more. We love you very, very much. Just take your time growing and enjoy every bit of it. I know we will as we watch you."
