Little Girls = dolls, lots of pink, bows and barrettes..

Many people have asked me, How do you keep her barrettes in her hair? Well as you can see I don't. Once she figures out it is in her hair it comes out. And that is fine. I don't make her keep them in...yet. lol. However I think they are adorable. The one in the picture a customer had made for Emma. Very cute!

A girl can never have toooo many shoes!!

Emma and I were picking up her room (sort of) and Em got side tracked as she loves to take her shoes and put them anywhere. Even her diaper pail! Silly Emma. Too funny!

Knock Knock...Sissy

Emma and I were picking up her toys, before bed. Something we are teaching her now to do. She ran over to Carrie's bedroom door, looking for her sissy she knocked on the door and wasn't sure why she wasn't opening her door as she usually does. She loves her big sister Carrie! But bummer Sissy isn't home tonight... :(

Here Carrie and Emma both are enjoying a peanut butter sandwich for lunch. After that we went shopping. Here Emma is showing off her new salt water sandals. These are the sandals to have for little ones. Very durable and easy to walk in. I even had a pair when i was young. Every summer I would get a new pair. So Emma got a pair in pink ( of course ) and white. Us girls had a fun day of shopping! : )

Happy Birthday... Grandpa Hyatt!!

Happy Birthday to Grandpa. Today was Grandpa Hyatts 74th birthday. The family got together at Auntie Pams house for Lasagna and Grandpas favorite...Berry pie. Here "little EM" ( what Grandpa calls her )and cousins Caylen, Coleson, Kristal, Carly AND Terry....also Big Brother Jon and Sissy Carrie, Grandpa in the center holding Em. David another cousin was working as I was too. :( Art was taking the picture. Family is SO important and Emma has such a great family. We are so blessed! We all get together on Mondays and have a big dinner. Soon we will have another little cousin, Caylen is going to be a big sister. More cousins to play with, more fun! :)

Date night!

This was Art and my 2nd date ...w/out Emma since she was born. We had SO much fun and was much needed ( for those who knew the kind of day I had-OMG )!Art took me to the TOBY KEITH concert and then a late dinner. We had a great time and decided we should have a "DATE" night at least once in awhile. Carrie watched Em. She is Such a great and sweet big sissy. :) Here are a few pics of our night. Silly ones of Art and I but fun.

Humm...wasn't sure what to title this particular blog? Here she is trying out her new carseat before we put it in my car. I actually was teary eyed. Happy/sad. Knowing the infant seat will no longer be used. The sweet little pink seat we brought our baby home in from the hospital. No longer needed. Some might say...Oh brother! BUT knowing Em is our last one and all...just made me sort of sad. She's growing. BUT am happy with this choice and now she can look forward. So much easier. The seat has a cup holder in reach for her too. Nice!

Giddy up, Emma....

Daddy brought home a pony!! A radio flyer that I had been eyeing and wanting to get Em. Art had called after work to say he was going to Babies R Us (his favorite store...lol)to get her a new car seat. A toddler one. The same one as Coleson. Thanks Kris for the kuddos on it! : ) I think this one will be great, everything we were looking for. SOOOOOOO Art surprised us when he walked in with this huge box that had "Radio Flyer" on the side. AND some cute little summer outfits. It was like Christmas. Art quickly put the pony together as it was getting late and Em was ready for bed. She was so into watching her Daddy put it together. And loved riding it! Our little cowgirl. Daddy got a BIG kiss and high five. Thankyou Daddy!

Emmas Little white basket

This little white basket WAS perfect size for all EmmaLees toys that we kept downstairs in the living room. Now I think it is pefect size for Emma to sit in. lol. She will crawl in her basket, toss her toys out, sit there and play with one or two of her toys. Too funny. Think the white basket needs to retire and become her book basket instead. Besides, this little white basket is overflowing w/toys.

TUG - O - WAR

Emma laughed and laughed as Penny would take her little purse away. Then Emma would take it back and it went on and on. It was so funny! I think they wore eachother out. Both are sound asleep.
