My little helper

EmmaLee loves to help in the kitchen. Whether it be unloading the dishwasher, putting away groceries or helping me prep when I bake. She especially loves to stir and mix and of course lick the spoon! Today we made some banana bread. Being it's rainy and alot cooler today, it forsure is a baking day.

Emma loves to look out into the backyard for her doggies and is quick to tell them NO when they bark. Busy lil' girl we really have to watch these days as she will open the sliding screen door (lock is broke!) and get on to the patio. She also loves to play with her kitchen all the fun little gadgets that turn and sing and so much more. One of her favorites.

Story time

Emma loves her books and will bring them to me thru out the day. I was about to read Emma a bed time story and Art walked in the door from work. Tired and exhausted (a crazy 14 hr shift)he was happy to see his girl and wanted to read to her. Another one of those "Daddy moments" I love to see!

A surprise visit to Daddy

After Emmalee and I finished baking cookies for her Daddy we thought we would take him some to brighten his day. It worked! He was happy to see Em, he actually had called me while we were on our way to see him and ask me to keep Em up so he can see her. He didn't get to see Emma all day yesterday so he was very happy to see his girl. We also stopped by starbucks and got him a frap. :) Cute pics of the two!

Daddy had a rough day yesterday at work. So Emma and I made him some cookies and will take them to him this afternoon. He loves choc chip cookies and Em does too. :)

Mondays are lots of fun!

Our little Em is growing oh so fast! I've noticed the past couple of days that she is looking more like a toddler than a baby. Makes me sad..but I love the age she is. So much fun! Em is ever so busy. Every other Monday she goes to play at Auntie Pams house. Cousins Coleson and Caylen come over too and they have so much fun playing and learning to share. We get a kick watching the 3 busy at play. Emma really likes the big red ball that makes sounds. It's actually a hoppitty hop. But obviously she has no clue to do that..yet. She is a "hoppy" little girl though. Likes to bounce around. Think she is going to be a dancer. :)

EmmaLee and Penny Lane

Penny is very playful and so sweet! She just came in from outside, so that is why she has the "bark" collar on. Em has so much fun crawling over the dogs and pulling on them..and loving them too.

Em and Lola

Em is all nice and comfy leaning on her furry friend, Lola. I was sitting on the floor just watching her play with the dogs. Penny and Lola are very patient and gentle with Emma. As Emma pulls on their ears and grabs their mouth to try and open to get a look inside... Always ready with the camera here are some cute pics of Em and Lola.
